Měla za nás mýt nádobí, ale dala nám vibecoding

What the talk is about

We expected AI to take over heavy manual work on the assembly line. Instead it took work we like to call creative and gave us vibe coding. Patrick Zandl started as a junior at a newspaper rewriting wire stories from the Czech News Agency and now teaches companies to work with Claude Code. In this talk he places vibe coding in the history of programming, from the 1987 OOPSLA debate over object-oriented programming to today's question of whether we can use code we don't understand.

You'll learn why, in vibe coding, the author is still the only security layer, who benefits right away and where caution is due. Patrick explains why deploying an app is only 20 % of the work, how new technical debt builds up when you just keep clicking "yes, yes, yes", and why you should talk an idea through with AI as a sparring partner before writing the first line of code.
