Václav Muchna

Václav Muchna is the co-founder and global CEO of Y Soft, which he started with Martin de Martini in 2000 as a student project at Masaryk University in Brno. In 25 years it has grown into a global company with more than 350 people and customers in over 190 countries: its SAFEQ print and scan management platform is used by 38% of the Global Fortune 500, and Y Soft also makes its own hardware and tools for test automation and employee onboarding. Since 2014 the company has also invested in startups through Y Soft Ventures. Muchna was named Technology Entrepreneur of the Year in the Czech Republic and received the Centennial Award from the US Embassy in Prague for developing Czech-American business ties.
