What the talk is about

By his own account Jim Banks has spent a couple of hundred million dollars on paid traffic, and in 2006 he sold his PPC agency to the US company Think Partnership. Conferences talk a lot about success, so Jim builds his talk around mistakes. He tells stories from 2006–2008, when search money came mostly from gambling, ringtones and payday loans, and admits openly that he sometimes walked the edge of the rules and the law.

You'll learn how to find a "unicorn" keyword your competitors overlook, why a campaign with a 35% CTR ended in a loss because of cash flow, and how to get partners to pay you faster. Jim also covers the letters from NFL lawyers and the Florida Attorney General, and closes with advice for today: exploit your competitors' mistakes, use the Facebook pixel for cross-device data, and use Google Shopping even without a physical product.
