Marcus has been active in the field of SEO for more than 10 years, and has since managed to found several companies, with his most recent and successful project being the search analytics tool called Searchmetrics. He now employs over 180 people in Berlin, San Mateo, London and Paris. Their clients include Siemens, eBay, Verizon or Airbnb.
Marcus Tober is SVP and Head of Enterprise Solutions at Semrush. He founded Searchmetrics in 2005 and served as its CTO before joining Semrush in 2022. He has more than 20 years of experience in SEO and software products, and focuses on reducing friction between SEO, product, engineering and marketing teams.
