AI and Machine Learning: Implications on Business, Marketing & Analytics

Recorded

Talk language: English · Subtitles: CZ · DE · EN · PL

What the talk is about

Most advertising is still targeted by demographics and psychographics. Avinash Kaushik, author of the newsletter The Marketing Analytics Intersect, uses a volunteer from the audience, Jakub, to show why that is stupid, and argues for targeting intent, which people reveal through their behaviour. He then explains what machine learning is and what it changes in business, analytics and marketing.

You'll learn how artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning differ, what finding photos on your phone has in common with a machine that judges every lettuce bud, and how a company can start with free tools like TensorFlow. Avinash walks through learn, build and profit, shows the Red Roof Inn and OpenTable cases and Datart's missing ads, looks ahead to general AI and quantum computing, and sets companies concrete goals for the following year.
