What the talk is about

According to Pavlína Louženská, fashion brands get far higher engagement on Instagram than on Facebook or Twitter, and Instagram has become a tool of marketing communication. Pavlína works at Zoot, in her words the largest Czech online fashion retailer, which Instagram approached with a pilot of its ads. With ROI Hunter it reached 237,000 people in four weeks for €1,500.

You'll learn which creatives worked and which failed, why the narrow targeting borrowed from Facebook doesn't work on Czech Instagram, and why ads with copy in the image or a stock photo don't perform. Pavlína adds practical rules on copy length, hashtags and tailored messaging, and explains why the campaign didn't draw the backlash that Michael Kors's first Instagram ad did.
