What the talk is about

YouTube video advertising got off to a slow start in the Czech Republic, and in 2013 few people knew what to expect from it. Ondřej Sláma of the PPC agency Inborn pooled data with his clients from about 100 videos that ran in the Czech Republic and Slovakia over the past year, and shows how people actually watched them.

You'll learn how the TrueView formats work and what you pay for, how many people skip an ad after five seconds and how many watch it to the end. Ondřej explains why video length hardly matters, what a single view cost, why it was cheaper on the Display Network than on YouTube, and what to watch out for, from a banned spot and lost HD quality to conversions that never show up in AdWords.
